This morning I woke up and ran with my good buddy, Rocky Favia, Jr. It was a nice morning run.
I have spent most of the last 18 days running by myself (with the exception of the Aruna 5k), and it was really good to have a chance to run with another human being.
Rocky has been a good friend and my studio assistant this year in Taylor’s Playground Recording Studio. We typically work in the studio together from 9am to 4pm on Thursdays. Prior to that, we often get together to go for a brisk morning run.
He will be heading to Tennessee in a couple of weeks and I will really miss him. He is a good brother and fellow follower of Christ.
This morning we ran a 5k in just under 25 minutes (24:59), which is an average pace of 8:01 per mile.
After running we spent the day in the studio starting a new project. I will be producing another 2 Harts Surrendered album due to be released later this year. We spent the day arranging songs and recording drums with Nick Mast. It was a good day.
