Photo Every Day 2025 – Christmas List

Last year I tried something new for the month of December, leading up to Christmas Day, and I thought it was fun enough to try again this year. I have complied another list of 25 photos I want to take and post in December. (There are quite a few repeat items from last year, but a few fun new ones, as well.) Each day I will attempt to cross one of the items off of the list. Let’s see how the challenge goes this year…

Today’s photo: A Christmas Eve Tradition

This has become one of my favorite Christmas Eve traditions… On Christmas Eve morning, a group gathers in downtown Wooster for “Sully’s Christmas Eve Run”. It’s not an organized race. There are no prizes. We just run around the streets of Wooster, stopping at Christmas Run Park, Christmas Run Drive, Winter Street, and any other festive places that seem like they would be perfect for a photo.

Sully runs around with a speaker in his running belt, blasting out Christmas tunes for all to enjoy. Our run this year was just under 7 miles, and it was a really good time.

After the group left the Christmas tree in downtown Wooster, I had the Polens (along with an honorary Polen) stay behind to grab our own selfie.
