I am afraid that this past Saturday at the WCAL cross country meet may be the last time that I get to see Abigail run… #SadDay

I am super proud of her for joining the cross country team and for running so well these past two years. She doesn’t really love cross country, but she loves her sister. Abigail mostly ran so that Piper would have a chance to compete as a team. (I do think she ended up having a lot of fun along the way.)

Unfortunately, my schedule will not allow for me to watch Abigail (and Piper) compete this weekend at Districts. Hopefully they move on as a team. I won’t be able to be at next week’s meet, either, so my only chance of seeing Abigail run again as a high school cross country runner will be if they make it to State as a team. Though not likely, that would be amazing!
