Photo Every Day 2024

I have decided to do something a little different this month. I have complied a list of 25 photos I want to take and post in December. Each day I will attempt to cross one of the items off of the list. Let’s see how this goes…

For the third photo in my little personal challenge, here is a close-up of one of my favorite ornaments. We bought his ornament last year while we were at the Four Corners (the point at which Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico meet). I was there to run four marathons in four days (one in each state). Not only was that an amazing trip for us as a family, but it was just a really meaningful time for me, personally. Running those four marathons in four days was probably the hardest thing that I have ever chosen to do, trained to do, set out to do, and then ultimately accomplished. And now I have an ornament to hang on the tree each year to remind me of it.
