Photo Every Day 2024

For the next couple of weeks, leading up to the 5k Every Day in the Month of May 2024 challenge, I’ll be dripping photos from the last couple of hours of our recent trip to Universal, FL.

Arguably the biggest draw, and main attraction to Universal, FL is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That was certainly something that our kids were most looking forward to, and we definitely spent the majority of our time in Diagon Alley (Universal Studios) and Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventures).

On the first day that we were in the theme park, I told the family that I was going to lead them to the Harry Potter stuff. They followed me well, but their eyes were searching left and right, taking in all of the incredible sights of the theme park. I walked right past Diagon Alley (on purpose, just to see if they would notice). They did not even realize that we passed the Harry Potter stuff. That is because the main entrance into Diagon Alley is essentially hidden, with little to no markings. To get into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, you have to pass through a brick wall by the Leaky Cauldron (just like in the books).

The entire Wizarding World of Harry Potter area is practically invisible from outside of the area… to mere muggles, that is.
