Photo Every Day 2024

For the next couple of weeks, leading up to the 5k Every Day in the Month of May 2024 challenge, I’ll be dripping photos from the last couple of hours of our recent trip to Universal, FL.

One of the things we really enjoyed while we were inside of the theme park was the little shows that would pop up in the streets. We saw the Blues Brothers, some big dance thing, construction workers beating on buckets (Beat Builders), and many other cool shows. One morning while we were waiting for a show to start, we saw this cool, little alleyway. For some reason I just wanted a photo in front of it, so we walked there to get the photo.

Unfortunately (for us), there were a bunch of kids playing in the alley. We waited around for a couple of minutes, but it looked like they were going to be there for a while, so we gave up and began to walk away. We may have taken five or six steps when I heard a mom say, “Okay, kids… let’s get going.”

Just like that, the kids stopped playing and followed their parents out of the alleyway. I quickly set up my tripod and was able to snap a photo, after all.
