Photo Every Day 2024

This afternoon I went out for a drive with my daughter. She needed a ride to work (actually, she has her driver’s permit… so I sat in the passenger seat while she drove herself to work) and I wanted to take some photos, so it seemed like the perfect combination.

Unfortunately, as we were heading towards her workplace, and the location where I wanted to take some photos, a crazy thick fog rolled in. It was so thick that I really couldn’t take any of the photos I was hoping to take.

The fog just lingered, and even thickened, for the entire afternoon and well into the evening.

Deciding to take advantage of the situation, I drove to a nearby train track to see what a photo would look like from the vantage point of the train staring into the abyss of the fog. I thought the result was rather spectacular.
