Photo Every Day 2024

Our oldest daughter was selected to be a part of the Canton Youth Symphony this year. We are excited for her, and (of course) super proud of her! I can’t wait to hear the full symphony performing together. As of right now, all I hear are the epic violin parts. They sound good, but I am excited to hear all of the parts working together in harmonious beauty.

Rehearsal happens once a week in Canton, which is about 40 minutes from our home. She is old enough and responsible enough to drive herself there, but Jodi and I have been taking the opportunity to drive her to rehearsal, drop her off, and then have a hot date night.

(Of course, by “hot date night”, I essentially mean that we go grocery shopping and then sit at Starbucks together, drinking coffee while taking advantage of some much-needed alone time, getting work done.)
