I would love to know the story behind what I am seeing here…
As we reached the summit of the Beehive Trail in Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, ME, I noticed this incredibly interesting structure on a lonely island in the middle of the Gulf of Maine. Is this a lighthouse? Is this a residence?
I zoomed in as far as my camera lens would allow, but I am still not exactly sure what I am looking at.
