Evening Drive

Tonight I went for a drive to town with Piper (it was our “Daddy / Daughter Date” night). Instead of taking the typical route, I veered off the beaten path-and brought my camera along for the ride.

The first stop that I made on our evening drive was to a field that I often run by on my “Epic 8” route. There are so many evenings that I come running by this field and just see a whole bevy of deer.

I was not disappointed. Piper didn’t see them at first, but I knew exactly where they would be. So I pulled over to the side of the road, put my hazards on, and took this photo with the lens hanging out of my window.
