Photos from Arizona 2023

I remember riding in the car with my mom as a kid, when I was probably 12 years old. She would come to pick me and my brother up, and drive us to her home in Columbus, then drive us back home again a week later. Around that time a comedian named Jeff Foxworthy had released a comedy album called, You Might Be a Redneck If…

We listened to that album (on cassette tape, of course) over and over again all the way to Columbus and back… and we laughed, and laughed, and laughed.

I thought Jeff Foxworthy was absolutely hilarious. Pure comedy gold.

You can imagine my excitement when I found out that Jeff Foxworthy would be entertaining one evening at the event I was leading worship for while in Arizona.

What a treat!

I can honestly say that he DID NOT disappoint! He was hilarious. A full 30 years after his You Might Be a Redneck If… routine (which was recorded in 1992), and he is still just as funny as ever.

He had the whole audience rolling. What a treat it was to be able to see him perform in person, and interact with him a bit off the stage.
