  1. GREAT GREAT GREAT advice on hydration! I work in the Safety Field in a hot manufacturing plant in the arm pit of Georgia… (Arm pit because it is always hot and moist here, humitiy IS of the devil). But every year in starting in the month April – I start pushing hydration, hydration, hydration! Most years we go straight from 40 degrees to 95 and for a few weeks Georgia gets all bipolar and will have these 40+ degree mood swings each day where it starts out in the morning ar 35 and reaches 80 by afternoon. Crazy!
But you and your Brother were talking about not washing all of the electrolytes out of the system – HUGE KEY! While yes, it is good to push the water it is paramount to keep the electolytes in balance. Low electrolytes can impair bodily functions like blood clotting, muscle contractions, etc and since the heart is a MUSCLE that musscle needs electrolytes to regulate our heartbeat.

My krypotnite is coffee AND is my drug of choice to regulate my ADHD. It keeps me “level” and able to focus. Many days the ONLY fluid going in my body is that bean infused water. I am going try to follow your lead and before i drink that 2nd (third or fifth cup/pot of coffee) i am going to drink at least 12 oz of water. Started this morning – my bladder HATES YOU!! 🙂
Anyway, Thanks for all that you do for the Kingdom!
    Darren

    • Hahaha. I would like to formally apologize to your bladder, but hopefully it will thank me later.

Thanks for that extra information on hydration. I hope people see your comment. It is so important for staying healthy and running for the long haul.

Those temperature swings sound wild. Maybe northeast Ohio isn’t so bad, after all.
