I have to admit that my legs were a bit sore today as I started my run. I felt great yesterday, even after I finished the 25k, but today these old legs were feeling a bit tight.
I just went at a nice, sub 8 minute pace and decided to settle in near there. Thankfully, as I got warmed up a bit, my legs actually felt great again.
I decided to go for a little more than a 10k. I ended up with exactly 7 miles and a finish time of 53:57. That ends up being an average pace of 7:42 per mile.
My total miles for the week ended up being 57.7. Not a bad start to the first full week of 10k October!
