The Western Wall

The Western Wall outside of the Temple Mount is where many Jews will gather to pray. They use this location because it is the closest that Jews are allowed to get to the temple. The temple is now Islamic property. No Jews allowed!

This is a common place for celebrating a Bar Mitzvah and while the Jews are praying next to the wall they are constantly moving back and forth… This is so that they can “praise God with every bone within them”.

To get in to the place of prayer I had to wear a covering on my head. But it was a bit windy. While I was standing there and observing, a gust of wind came and blew my covering off of my head. Embarrassed, and hoping that I would not get in trouble, I quickly reached after it and picked it up off of the ground. I am afraid that I would be the worst Jew ever… Haha.
