How about another post with my dad in it? This one is a little different, though. Today’s favorite photo from 2022 is actually a photo I took at the Wayne County Cross Country Championship of my nephew, Beau.

A long time ago—it seems like a whole other lifetime ago—I owned a Harley Davidson. I used to love to ride that thing.
Today is a very special day. Eight years ago our youngest child was born. What a glorious day that was!
Today’s favorite photo of 2022 is a picture I took on Elijah’s twelfth birthday. His grandfather, my dad, handed down a .22 rifle that he bought with his own money when he was Elijah’s age.
Life doesn’t have to be perfect. The wind will come and mess things up… but just keep making your way towards your destination. Do it with with people who love you. And don’t be afraid to stop and hug along the way.
Today’s favorite photo of 2022 is a photo that I snapped of my bride on my iPhone while we were out on a run in Pigeon Forge, TN. We saw an amazing mural of a butterfly and I coaxed her to pose in front of it.

Last year I was invited to lead worship at the Gospel Advancing Ministry Summit in Golden, CO. It was an absolutely amazing event. I am so excited to be a part of it again this year.

God is good! One of the amazing things that the good LORD did for us is that He gave us tastebuds. Isn’t that amazing?!
As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12)
I snapped this photo with my iPhone on the day after my 41st birthday while running a marathon in my 11th state. It was a cold, wet, muddy, miserable day. I loved it.
As I look back on 2022, I can’t help but be amazed by the goodness of God. Words would fail to adequately communicate how thankful I am for how God has moved in and through my life…
