I decided to take a brief break from posting photos from my recent trip out west, and today I will be posting a photo I took this past Saturday morning of our daughter running Cross Country.
Here is another photo that I took of the view at the top of the hill where Astor Column sits in Astoria, OR. Check out that epic bridge!

I love seeing cool, artsy ways to make an otherwise boring-but necessary-object become super interesting. Check out this electric meter that is sitting at the park where we had our “Care Day” party in the park.
Yesterday I wrote a little about the face painting that was a part of “Care Day”. Today I wanted to share a photo of one of the sweet girls who showed up and got her face painted.
Yesterday I wrote a little about spending the third day of CauseCamp NW focused on what it looks like to CARE for others. One way we decided to do that was by providing a fun block party at a local park in Arlington, WA.
After spending the full second day in prayer, we spent the third day of CauseCamp NW focused on what it looks like to CARE for others.
This amazing group of students and leaders were praying for the people in their friend group to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ…
Here is a photo I snapped a couple of weeks ago while I was out on Craft Island in the Pacific Northwest.
I was able to snap this photo quickly on my iPhone as Piper was coming into the final leg of the junior high girls race at Waynedale yesterday.
