We had quite the storm move in at the end of the Amish Country Half Marathon this morning! Polen Band played live music leading up to the race, and the weather was perfect! After the half marathon, 10k, and 5k runners were released, we began tearing down our stage and sound system. We set up a separate sound system so the race coordinators could continue to make announcements and welcome finishers, but we wanted to get our stage and main sound system packed up because we were pretty sure a storm was brewing! And it was! We packed up the very last pieces of our equipment, and the skies let loose! It poured! Thankfully, by that time, nearly all of the runners were finished, and we were packed up and on our way back home…
