Photo Every Day 2026
Several years ago I met a power couple from Kentucky named Chris and Billie Bartley. I met them through Dare 2 Share, and I knew immediately in my spirit that they were the real deal—humble, passionate, and completely sold out to reaching students with the gospel.
For years I hoped we’d get to do something together with their youth group. That hope finally became a reality this past weekend.
I had the privilege of spending time with Chris and Billie, their incredible adult leaders, and a room full of students at Camp Lyons in Salt Lick, Kentucky. What a gift. I led worship, Chris spoke, and the students were locked in from the first song to the last word. You could feel it in the room—the hunger, the honesty, the sense that God was doing something.
I still can’t believe I get to do this for a living. Leading worship and watching God move in the lives of students who have so much potential is an absolute privilege. And seeing friends like Chris and Billie lean all the way into their God-given calling? That brings me more joy than I could ever capture in a blog post.
Weekends like this remind me why we keep showing up. Not because the stage is impressive or the setting is perfect (though Camp Lyons is beautiful), but because Jesus is still changing lives—one student, one conversation, one surrendered moment at a time.
Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
