    Absolutely. The positivity has been infectious.
    I gave it good effort and my legs are feeling it. But it’s been awesome this year.

    I am proud of myself; this has helped me train for a 5k race with my daughter.
    I tried! It’s getting easier the more I do it.

    Yes needed the kick start back in to exercise. And I have been able to do this with my bride.
    Have not completed today’s yet but it is getting easier every day.

    4. I am glad I accepted the challenge. May is so busy that if I didn’t have it I probably wouldn’t have worked out some days.
    4. No butter run. I am going to tell our kids cross country coach about it and see if they can do it this summer. They practice at Wooster Memorial.

    Why or why not?— it came at the perfect time to get me motivated to move my body again and be in the word faithfully.
    Did you run until it turned to butter today? No… but sounds intriguing… may try it another time!

    Yes I’m glad I joined. Keeps me moving some on my rest days.
    I did not make butter today. It’s puppy pick up day! Did my 5k on my walking pad at 3am so we could be on the road by 4:30am!

  15. Billi Coakley – yes, I have faithfully completed at least 3.1 miles of intentional walking every day so far in May 2026! Feeling accomplished but also tired (my son graduated and we’re doing a party today) but no excuses! I am glad that I accepted this challenge because I have some cousins doing it with me this time! Also, I need to get in better walking shape to prepare for a European vacation from Rome to Paris and all in between soon! I will not attempt to run until it turned to butter today. THANKS!

    Actually feeling ok.
    I’m glad I accepted the challenge! Keeps me in shape. Gives a group goal to be accomplished each day.
    I did not run with or with the intention of making any butter. But I do like butter.

    I’m glad I decided to take a break from distance training, focus on speed and take it easy this month.
    Just woke up. I’ve been getting it done early this month, but with end of year activities with the kids, the plan is to head out a little later this morning.

  32. Checking in for Myself and my 3 kiddos ages 12, 9 and 6 have done a 5k everyday! I love how I feel and will continue on my daily walks. My kiddos are ready to be done but so proud that they have stuck with it!

    I feel great and plan to continue. This is just what I needed to get back into running/walking.
    Yes, I am so thankful I accepted this challenge. One day, the AI collective song said, “Sometimes healing comes from 5kMay” and I felt that in my soul!
    I forgot to get the ingredients….have you ever heard teachers make the worst students?! #thatsme
