Have you faithfully completed at least 3.1 miles of intentional running and / or walking every day so far in May 2026?
Yes
How are you feeling by this point in the challenge?
I am surprised at how much better I am at running. My 5k has dropped by 6 minutes over the month from a 37 to a 31 minutes. Not fast, but great for me. Last year I struggled to do a 45 minute 5k.
Are you glad that you accepted this challenge? Why or why not?
Yes. I am training for a triathlon in July, and my weakest part has always been running. Truthfully I have hated running, but after a month of mixed 5ks of walking and working on different types of running (tempo, zone 2, and interval) I dislike it less than I use to. I have even found times of enjoying a zone 2 run with friends.

I’m excited to say that today I was able to run the full 3.12 as I’ve been in the injury list but have walked all my other miles!
I was sad I’d have to walk miles but God has shown me so much during this time and I feel like I was able to really listen to the podcasts better while walking!
After 9 miles or walking/running this morning, my butter run was unfortunately not successful! It was fun trying though! We used the cream in our coffee this morning after the attempt to not waste it! 🤣

I am also thankful that my husband agreed to do this with me, as that has also kept me going ❤️

Have you faithfully completed at least 3.1 miles of intentional running and / or walking every day so far in May 2026? Yes
How are you feeling by this point in the challenge? 5 lbs lighter, and ready to keep moving in June.
Are you glad that you accepted this challenge? Why or why not? Yes. It made me happy when the 14 year old athlete who walked with me complmented me that I could climb the hill at the end of our road and was less winded than he was and had done so at the same speed as the rest of the walk.
Did you run until it turned to butter today? If so, how did it go? No running No butter but a beautiful day to walk.
