I am feeling a little sore because my job is physically demanding and with this challenge I’m getting up to 20k steps a day 😆
I felt like God wanted me to do this challenge to teach me how to rely on His strength day by day. And I’ve certainly needed His strength to do it so far. I’ve been loving turning these miles into prayer walks!
That sounds like a great use of 3.1 miles!

My name is Loretta. I have completed a 5k each morning this month before school and on the weekends. This time of the year, as school is winding down, I’m exhausted at the end of the day, thus the walking early morning. Lord willing, I plan to finish. I do enjoy listening to your podcasts before I walk, I love the morning sounds when walking. I’ve done most of the photo challenges.

I have really enjoyed the time to slow down a little, enjoy God’s creation, and the community (whether through the Facebook group or do it with friends in person, or talking to my sister on the phone). I usually try to run some, but this year I have just been walking, but the commitment to that quiet time to slow down seems to be what I need currently, so it has been really nice.

I am Michael Bitson and so far I’ve gotten in at least a 5k a day this month. Many times it’s been a 10k, which is a huge increase for me since last year!
Won’t lie, I’m hurting a bit. I’m not as young as I once was. Plus doing more distance. And I don’t recover as fast as I used to. I think I’m crazy but I’m no quitter; this is going to be done all the way through!
My favorite part has been getting to often walk the last mile with my daughters.I’ve timed it well most times to meet them as they get out of school. I hope they don’t get tired of me doing that.

Feeling pretty good about walking this consistently – have done similar levels of walking but not this many days in a row.
Based on how busy we’ve been last couple weeks (we did walking in a couple different states due to graduation of daughter) the ability to keep up on the challenge has given me confidence that I can finish.
The best part is spending the walking time with my wife each day – time we haven’t put aside on a normal basis.

I think so! I am freshly married and my husband has been the most supportive of helping me have the extra time to do it
What has been your favorite part of the challenge so far?
I enjoy the discipline of it. There’s definitely a connection and how that has helped me have discipline in other areas of my life.
The hardest part of this challenge for me sometimes is remembering to post it on check-in days

What has been your favorite part of the challenge so far? We hiked in the Bernheim Forest for Mother’s Day. I have wanted to visit for years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I could spend days there.
