Photo Every Day 2026

I’m not quite sure what the deal was with this, but apparently today at home school co-op there was a bit of an Egyptian face painting party.

The students were learning about Lillian Trasher, who was an American Christian missionary to Egypt. She was also the founder of the first orphanage in Egypt, and apparently she became known as the “Nile Mother” of Egypt.

Well… apparently in her honor, some of the students painted their faces with some Egyptian designs. This is the face that I came home to today…
