Photo Every Day 2025

I have a few more photos from my recent trip to Nevada. There is a beautiful mountain range northwest of Las Vegas called Mt. Charleston. We started our marathon from a little campground in Mt. Charleston. It was super early in the morning when we got there, and the sun was just coming up as we started the marathon, so later that day we decided to drive back out to Mt. Charleston and take in the sites in the daylight. As an Ohioan, I can honestly say that the sites were absolutely stunning!

This was a photo I took of what is called “Cathedral Rock”. Apparently there is a fairly difficult 2.8 mile trail with a waterfall, wildflowers, and a view of Kyle Canyon from this spot… but after running 26.2 miles in the morning, we were not quite up for that kind of party on this particular day.
