Tip #3 for having an epic road trip: Do something incredible!

This morning I woke up and ran the Las Vegas Marathon. That was incredible!

The run took us from a high point on Mt. Charleston and had us follow Kyle Canyon Rd (in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area) into a suburb northwest of Las Vegas. We started at sunrise, and I kind of wish we would have started well before sunrise, because that run got hot after the sun was up.

It was still an incredible run, with absolutely stunning views. It also state #27 on my way to completing my “#50by50” personal goal of running a marathon in every state by age 50.
