Photo Every Day 2025

I have a few more fun iPhone photos that we took while we were in Atlanta. This was us at the Chick-Fil-A Dwarf House. Have you ever even heard of it? This is the site of the original Chick-Fil-A, originally called the Dwarf Grill, and then renamed the Dwarf House, founded by S. Truett Cathy on May 23, 1946.

After years of trying different culinary ideas and endeavors, it is here that Cathy invented what is widely considered the first ever fried chicken breast sandwich in the early 1960s.

He then went on to open the first Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall in 1967, pioneering the concept of in mall restaurants. Chick-Fil-A now has thousands of restaurants nationwide, and has grown to become one of the largest privately held and family owned restaurant chains in the U.S.

The Chick-Fil-A Dwarf House serves food exactly like a regular Chick-Fil-A on one half of the building, but there is an extended menu and a sit-down / waitress experience on the other half of the building.

Believe it or not, I ordered and ate a delicious Chick-Fil-A burger (yes, beef)! I’ve never done that at a Chick-Fil-A before.
