Photo Every Day 2025

After a few photos from the weekend, I am jumping back into my Way-Too-Close series of photos… here is a way-too-close photo of my carbon fiber McPherson Sable Blackout with a honeycomb top. I love this guitar! It sounds so good, it plays like a dream, and because it is carbon fiber I can fly with it and not worry about a thing.

I will admit that I prefer a wooden guitar, but the wooden McPherson guitars are a little (okay, a lot) out of my price range. If you close your eyes and just listen to this guitar, you would never know that it is carbon fiber.

What do you think? Do you like the looks of this guitar, or do you prefer a classic wooden body, as well?
