If you think about it, feel free to say a prayer for this girl tonight. She will be one of several incredible runners from our area who will be running in the State cross country meet tomorrow morning near Columbus, OH.

I have had the privilege of running MANY miles with her through the years. Back on May 1, 2020, she decided to run and / or walk at least 3.1 miles every single day. She is currently on day 1,645 in a row. Incredible.

On her 13th birthday, she wanted to run a half marathon (13.1 miles). I had the honor of running with her. She was amazing.

I don’t know of anyone who works harder than she does. At the same time, not all of our runs have been intense workouts. So many of our runs together have just been full of wonderful conversations.

I am praying that the good LORD will give her strength to run well tomorrow, to crush her goals, and to honor and point to Jesus every step of the way. I would love it if you would join me in this simple prayer.
