Photo Every Day 2024

This morning I had the privilege of performing fun, upbeat songs of worship at the Amish Country Half Marathon in Berlin, OH with Polen Band. It is always such a great event!

Before the start of the race, the East Holmes Fire Department hangs a massive American flag from their ladder truck. I offer a prayer over the runners, sing the National Anthem, and then count down to the start.

Just before the end of the event, volunteers from the Fire Department carefully lower the flag and pack it up in a clear, plastic container. I always enjoy watching them pack it up, careful to never let the flag touch the ground (which was especially difficult today with the crazy wind). They nailed it.
