Photo Every Day 2024

For the last few days of April, leading up to the 5k Every Day in the Month of May 2024 challenge, I’ll continue dripping photos from the last couple of hours of our recent trip to Universal, FL.

I spent about a week sharing photos from Diagon Alley in the Universal Studios theme park, but that is only half of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction. The other half is found in the Islands of Adventures theme park, which is actually a separate theme park. To get to one from the other, you have to have a pass for each park, and you have to physically leave the one park and enter the other.

There are two ways to do this… you can walk the whole way out of one theme park, enter the other theme park, and walk the whole way to the other Wizarding World area (of course they put them both at the furthest edges of their theme parks), or you can ride the “Hogwarts Express” train.

Unfortunately, we did plenty of walking from one park to the other. We only rode the train twice… once from King’s Cross (Universal Studios) to Hogsmeade Station (Islands of Adventures), and once back the other way. Often the line for the train was so long that it just seemed to make more sense to cover the distance on foot.
