Photo Every Day 2024

Today I was working out in the basement with my bride and one of my daughters. One of our cats came downstairs to join us. I would have gladly shared a set of dumbbells with her, but she didn’t seem overly interested.

She apparently got pretty bored with what we were doing, because she quickly decided to lay down and close her eyes. Soon after, our other cat came and joined her.

There we were… working out, lifting weights, grunting, and sweating through our clothes, and there those silly cats just laid around, being lazy.

I hope they’re happy.

While I cannot applaud their lack of effort, they were decidedly too cute to not stop and take a photo of.

If I’m being brutally honest, I would have preferred to be just laying around and sleeping, myself. But the workout did feel pretty good… when it was over.
