Photo Every Day 2024

Back when I signed up to run the Myrtle Beach Marathon, I envisioned an idyllic, beautiful, sunny morning by the beach. Instead, I ran 26.2 miles in the rain and fog.

I know there was an ocean nearby, because I could hear it. But I definitely could not see it.

What a wild experience state #22 was! Either way, done is done. I am officially 22 states deep on my #50×50 challenge (running a marathon in all 50 states by age 50).

Let’s hope the next 28 states are not quite as wet and humid as this one was…
