Photo Every Day 2023

Oh, deer! This is my last photo of 2023!

Admittedly not my best photo of the year, but kind of a fun one, nevertheless. While I was speaking and leading worship at a youth retreat this weekend, we noticed a small herd of deer not far from the chapel. I tried to sneak up on them to capture a few fun photos, but they were on to me! The sun was nearly down, so the lighting was not great, and the deer were a bit too far away for a close, crisp photo, but I still captured something…

For those of you who have enjoyed the daily photo, I do plan to continue into 2024. It has been (mostly) fun. I am hoping to take at least one quick trip each month to simply focus on taking great photos, and of course I will still be snapping iPhone photos along the way (sometimes the best camera is simply the one you have in your hand).
