Gratitude Challenge: Day 10

I have decided to spend the month of November focusing on thankfulness. To help me with this challenge, I signed up to receive a daily prompt from the Day One journal app, encouraging me to write about something I am thankful for. I will, of course, aim to pair the daily journal entry with a photo.

Here is today’s prompt:

What do I love about where I live?

How ironic that this prompt would show up on a day when I am nowhere near my home.

While there are myriad things I could say about what I love about where I live, the most obvious answer is: my family.

I love my family. I love that my parents and brothers are not far from me. I love that Jodi’s parents and brother are not far from us. I love my family and am so thankful to God for every person He has placed in our family. What a blessing!

But, of course, one thing that is awesome about family is that they can also travel with you wherever you go!

This weekend I have the privilege of having our oldest daughter along for a ministry trip to Missouri. (And of course we had to make a quick stop at Bass Pro Shop…)
