Photo Every Day 2023

This “Photo Every Day” challenge has been fun for me. I hope you have enjoyed it, as well. I think it has forced me to get out and take photos, and hopefully I have gotten better through the year, as well. I am trying.

Today is my birthday, so there is only one photo that made sense for me to share today. When we think about birthdays, we often think of gifts. Today I wanted to share some of the most precious gifts that I have received in my life.

The most precious gift I have ever received is the gift of Jesus! I am so thankful for my forever friendship with Jesus. I am so thankful to be adopted into the family of God through Jesus’ work on the cross. I am so thankful for the work of the Holy Spirit in and through my life. I am so thankful for God’s free gift of eternal life. Without a doubt, this is the most precious gift I have ever received.

My next most precious gifts—and it’s not even close—would be the six other amazing humans in this photo, my beautiful bride and our five incredible kids. I am a truly blessed man.
