CauseCamp NW

After an awesome few days in Washington, being intentional about praying for the lost and caring for people, we traveled down to Astoria, OR for “Share Day”.

A large portion of “Share Day” was spent breaking up into teams and doing an epic “Share the Love” race. A “Share the Love” race is kind of like a scavenger hunt / Amazing Race type of event in which teams go out with a stack of ShareTheLove cards and simply follow the prompts written on the cards to earn points and engage in gospel conversations.

My good friend, Luke Long created the cards. Check out what this description from the sharethelovecards.com website:

ShareTheLove Cards are intended to inspire simple ways that God’s love can be shared with friends or strangers. God’s love is not based on performance or personal worthiness. It is freely given to all people! That’s what makes it so exciting to share! Instead of simply talking about love…let’s show it!

Before going out into the streets to share the love (by sharing the gospel), we gathered at Astor Column.
