Photos from Elijah’s Baseball Season 2023

Elijah dabbled a bit in pitching this year.

I bought a little pitching net and I asked him to practice by throwing 100 pitches every day. We have a bucket of roughly 25 baseballs, so going out and throwing through the bucket 4 times per day would do the trick. I told him that even though he is not the best pitcher on the team, they may need him at some point throughout the season.

Last week that is exactly what happened.

They were in a super tight game, and they were running out of pitching options. The coach called, “Time!” and walked out onto field. Next I saw the coach call Elijah in from the outfield.

He came in and pitched like a boss.
