10k October (Whistling Pines Update #6)

We have taken a fairly comfortable lead. Ron Hayes pulled in a fantastic 10k and handed the anklet off to Brent Martin. Brent is super fast. He is going to run a double lap (20k) and then I’m up. I’m ready. 

The waiting around is actually hard. I know there are a lot of people who would say, “Well, I wouldn’t mind watching, but I would want to do the running…”

The watching has been fun. I have enjoyed hanging out with some great guys, but I’m ready to do some running!
