22 days in and I am feeling pretty great.
My legs were a little heavy today when I started out, but they got going just fine after a couple of miles.
This afternoon I ran 4 miles in 30:59.3. That is an average pace of 7:45 per mile.
Every once in a while during the run I would take a step and feel the sharp pain of a rock in my right shoe. That was annoying. It was not annoying enough to stop, untie the shoe, take it off, shake it out, put it back on, lace it up, tie it, and start running again. No thanks. A little pain every once in a while will be fine, thank you.
I did shake the rock out of my shoe after finishing the run, but not before.
Sometimes you just have to persevere…
