A little closer…
Here is another photo of the eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly that landed on my bride’s flowers. Truly remarkable.

Today a butterfly landed in Jodi’s garden, on the gorgeous flowers that she has been growing this summer. The butterfly flew from flower to flower and just let me take photo after photo…
I actually took this photo yesterday, after the rain came through. I rather enjoy this view from our back yard.
We had quite the threat of a storm tonight. In the end (for us, at least), just a little bit of rain and a fairly massive rainbow.
Quite a few people from Jodi’s extended family came in from Canada this week. It has been so much fun to reconnect and have (almost) everyone together in one spot.
It is crazy bird season.But the baby birds sure are cute.
For our epic Daddy / Daughter Date, Eden and I rode our hogs into town to the Golden Bear. it was pretty wild.
