School of Worship

The Jeff Polen Music “School of Worship” is a 5 month physical and virtual school for Worship Leaders and Worship Musicians who want to grow in their craft of leading musical worship, while still serving in their own local church.

The school kicks off with a 2-day #WeeklyWorshipThoughts Workshop in Apple Creek, OH at the beginning of March. School of Worship participants get free admission to the Workshop, and are invited to an extra session at the end of the workshop. During the extra session, Jeff will field questions, provide further training, and will go through the overview and give out the resources for the rest of the School of Worship.

Following the workshop weekend, School of Worship participants will have monthly homework assignments, as well as a 90 minute monthly General Session video conference call, and a 60 minute monthly Instrument Specific video conference call. Students will read the Bible, read several books, and read multiple articles throughout the school. Video conference calls will happen over ZOOM.

During the General Sessions, Jeff will cover practical and spiritual aspects of leading worship, as well as facilitate engaging group discussions. The Instrument Specific sessions will be geared towards helping musicians grow in playing their specific instrument or role.

Jeff will also be available for one-on-one sessions as requested throughout the duration of the school.

The School of Worship will conclude in late August / early September with an optional Worship Night & Celebration in Apple Creek, OH.
