I’m not a runner(really don’t even enjoy it much) but I’m glad I did this especially with Christie J and the rest of the Jackrabbit’s. I now also understand when runners say 80 degrees is too hot and how much better 55-60 degrees feels to run in!!!!

  83. 1. Yes, I’ve completed a 5k every day. Thanks so much Jeff for motivating us along the way. For taking time to do the pod cast, and the three chapters each day. A thirty-day challenge for the mind, body, and soul. God has blessed me with so many surprises as I head out each day. The joyful neighbor’s dog running out to greet me and then running with me for a mile…she was hard to get rid of, sunrises, the joyful sounds of birds, and then watching two blue jays slam into an owl repeatedly, this morning. Trying to chase him away. So much I would be missing if I would not be out there.

Walking doesn’t make it hurt, so that’s what I’ve been doing. I did run a 5k on Saturday with my little running buddy for Girls on the Run and it felt good, so I’m going to try to ease in a little more running this week and see how it goes.

  112. 1. Yes!
    2. I’m feeling great and confident!
    3. I’ll try 6.2 miles, but not the entire mayhem challenge.

  118. For some reason, I can’t leave a comment on the check-in page. So I’m checking in here with you. So far, I’ve been successful with the 5K/day. I’m feeling very confident I’ll complete it. The mayhem is iffy, as it is every year but I continue to aspire to it.

  123. 1. Yes I have run a 5k everyday in May so far
    2. My run may have to change to a walk for a while because I pulled something in my behind, but I hope to be back running soon and I plan to continue the 5k for the entire month
    3. I don’t think I will be doing the mayhem.

    • I am checking in late. Do apologize.

      • 1 yes
2 I feel great, I have done it so far everyday and will definitely finish
3 sadly no not this year

  124. I’ve run along with my state prep it will be easier for me to finish because I will not have state this upcoming set and I do not think I will be doing the mayhem but I might if I can.

  125. Checking in a little late but feeling good. It’s been a challenge making time but even if it’s 11 pm I’m getting in that 5k for the day!

  126. Checking in late… story of my life.

Yes, I plan to finish a 5k every day in May.
I am uncertain if I can do the mayhem bc of a wedding I am doing that day.
I apologize for the late check in.

  130. 1. Yes

  131. 1. Yes
    2. I’ve been doing it quicker than last year and it’s been a lot easier to accomplish, can’t wait to finish
    3. No

  132. Forgot to do the last two check-ins. Ungawa! But so far I’m doing awesome! I’m gonna complete the challenge – no sweat. My son has been having some issues with an injury but he is pushing thru! It’s allowing us some great father-son time that we don’t normally get and that in and of itself is worth more than anything in the world.

  133. I totally forgot to check in ugh

    1. I have kept up will all my 5ks. Made it 15 days with 5ks x2 then my treadmill broke making it hard to get 2 in. But alas, I still have gotten at least one.

    2. I am feeling great! I even got a fellow baseball mom to join me in laps around the field during my sons baseball win!

    3. Sadly, mayhem won’t be in the plans for me.

  134. I’m not seeing my 2nd check-in. I’ve completed my 5Ks (or more) everyday, mixing in a walk for every 1-2 runs. I forgot how good it feels to be on this May streak, such a sense of purpose. I have been less successful with the photo challenge, although I have been effort-ing. Mayhem is landing on a 1/2 marathon day- made it work last year, but have a full marathon in a couple weeks and not sure how much my legs can take….

  135. Sorry I put my check in #2 in check in #1 thread
    1. Yes, ram or walked 5k a day
    2. Felt good and was happy my girlfriend joined me for this may
    3. I will not plan for mayhem
